Romans 3:23
Four Things God Want's You To Know

First, that you need a Savior.
"Surely there is not a righteous man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20). "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)

Second, that you can not save yourself.
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12)."Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by Me.(John 14:6)

Third, that God wants you to be saved.
"Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; " (1 Peter 3:18), "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Fourth, that He has provided for your salvation.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life". (John 3:16) "Who his own self {Jesus} bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

Four Things God Wants You To Do

First, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house." (Acts 16:31). "These are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name." (John 20:31)

Second, Repent of your sins.
"Except ye repent, ye shall all in like manner perish." (Luke 13:3). "And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)

Third, Confess Jesus before men.
"Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32). "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)

Fourth, be buried with Him in baptism.
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned." (Mark 16:16)
"And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days."(Acts 10:48)
"Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:3-4). Peter says, "which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 3:21)

By faith, repentance, confession and baptism we become God's children- adopted into the royal family. But the heavenly inheritance is not yet secure. It is yet conditioned on a Godly life. We are told to add to our faith the Christians virtues, "Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge; and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness; and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love." (2 Peter 1:5-7). The inheritance is conditioned on us continuing as God's children. And if we are His children, His spirit will dwell in us. And if the Spirit be in us, His fruits will be manifest in our lives."But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; " (Galatians 5:22-23). These virtues fit us to carry out the Savior’s will found in Matthew 25:13.
